Im using a passport finally but the problem was even on the q10. Apart from the power button, is there anyway to instantly lock the device without waiting for the timeout? I would even settle for an app that just does that- lock the device.

On the 10.3.1 OS, you can press the K key to lock.

Passport shipped with 10.3. You will have to wait for 10.3.1 or install a leak to let you use keyboard shortcuts

Oh ok bspence87. 10.3.1 is better? is there any list of features included in 10.3.1? and how to install it? I am totally new to OS 10. I was using 9900 Bold on OS 7 before passport......

You can also hold the lock button until the phone starts the power off countdown. Then let go of the lock button and there is an option to Lock the phone. Not as easy as a single key stroke, but it's all that's there until 10.3.1.

I don't install leaks, but if you search the forums you will find lots of information about how it's done and all the features that it comes with.

It's built to be for the upcoming Classic device, so look for it to cater to the needs of that (hence the keyboard shortcuts)
