Hello, I am thinking of leaving verizon just because i want a passport, and I was thinking of switching to a pre-paid plan with ATT or T-mobile in the process. Did anyone else do this? What is your experience like?

Tmobile should be fine. It would run you about $50 per month and would not have to be prepaid. Also, you might check Cricket, it's a prepaid service owned by ATT.

I think you meant to say prepaid with Passport.
Of course, you can. I am on Tmobile prepaid because I go in and out of the country months apart and it gives all I want. Also, if you make volume international calls, Lycamobile (preferred) or Ultramobile have interesting plans. All the best and welcome to BlackBerry Passport family.

I use cricket wireless with no issues, I used to use tmobile but after I moved to my new apartment service wouldn't work inside had to be outside in the parking lot for it to work. and they didn't have WiFi calling at the time either

Title fixed, I guess you meant passport, OP
I was really tempted to switch to Cricket but it would be a pain, I consolidated several family members on my plan and have seven lines. Plus, a bad dead zone in a nearby town now has full LTE I found out today when I drove through.
