I updated both my Z30 and Passport this past week. Both devices are running T-Mobile and my Z30 has had full bars of 4G LTE everywhere here in Sacramento, California. The odd thing is my Passport signal vacillates between 4G LTE, 4G and slower. (sometimes voice only) My Passport was not doing this prior to the update (done OTA on both devices) I already replaced the SIM in the Passport a couple days ago. Any additional ideas or suggestions is welcome.

    Thank you in advance-

Have you tried a full backup followed by a wipe and restore? I have found that if you do updates and then find problems or glitches, a security wipe is just the thing to fix it up and get the device running again.

I'm on T-Mobile too...no issues at all for me. Still great LTE signal after the update.

Thank you. I will perform a full back up and restore from Link and then follow up. I did the updates OTA and no problems so far on my Z30.

Am I correct to assume that no official BB Link, nor an official OTA update was used in the process?

It was the official OTA. All my more recent devices (2 Z30's and Passport) were purchased unlocked and directly from shop BlackBerry. I am backing up through Link and restoring this AM.

When you say wipe and restore you mean perform a factory reset and then restore device with the full back up performed prior correct? Sorry for what may seem an obvious question but I have never had to perform a wipe/factory reset prior.

yeah, only the (backup) restore would nullify the wipe
