Would have considered only for the one-handed use, but the specs would have to be close to the Passport to temp me.

I am personally in love with the passport. The classic and it's trackpad I left behind long ago. But to each it's own. I can see many people falling in love all over again with the classic. The passport is not for everyone.

Yes the PP is addictive, but its width and the 3 rows KB still make it inconvenient for some daily usage scenarios. For me!

A local station mentioned the Classic in the news this morning. One anchorman commented "Or you could just get an anvil."

    Yeah. He's kind of a ****.

I was hoping someone would pull a Passport out of their pocket on the air. It did not happen.

Yes, though I do love the specs and how much more snappier the passport is compared to the z30. And the the very cool touch keyboard, I prefer the 4 row key over the 3 any day. Still feels weird typing on it

I don't think going to a small screen is possible now. The Passport is amazing!!

I think the target audience for the Classic is the users of BBOS 7 devices and earlier, like the Bolds, Curves etc that are issued to bankers, legal people and public servants (or whatever your country calls the government, police, fire fighters, etc). If you have a Passport you are on a different product line and the Classic isn't meant for you. I guess there must be a few who really wanted something like a classic, but pitched up for the Passport because it arrived first. They would surely capitalise on the excellent piece of kit that they have bought, not pay up for another device so soon.

It is one very sweet machine by the looks of it.

Yet I like (need?) the screen of the Passport for my old eyes and the apps I use. I must admit the hybrid keyboard has yet to win me over but I've only had the device for two weeks so it's not really fair to make a full judgment yet.

I doubt I'll switch but for those of you getting your hands on one - perhaps there is a little envy.

I would have if it has 3gb or more of memory. But at this point, since I have the Passport, i will be waiting for the next all touch...just to change it up.

No chance. Classic specs are a disappointment; it won't tempt somebody with a Passport. I wish the keyboard keys were more clickable though...

So I just got my classic and I do have a huge problem now.

I have the passport since about two weeks, and I am
very used to it now, I'm especially in love with the amazing screen.

But the keyboard on the Classic....wow!
And for sure the touch pad is also amazing!

Unfortunately the Classic feels a tiny bit sluggish. Don't have
any apps installed yet. Just made a restart to see if goes better...

Will be very hard to decide which one to keep.
    Definitely can't keep both...

The classic keyboard on the passport would be PERFECT!
