I'm not fond of flip cases so I decided to buy this one from Amazon

Found one for less than 5€ / $8 shipped from the UK
I guess I'll customize it to enlarge it a little bit and make the LED visible

I've seen those leather holster sold on Ebay.

They look good but i'm sensing it may be a bit less convenient to grab the phone by the top with the Passport and to put it back. Plus it comes from China and would take forever to arrive (I'm in France). Now if some of you got one, I'd love to have your impression on it.

exactly, yes. they've confirmed that it fits in the L-sized holster.

I provided specific dimensions and also included the model of phone. The last step in customization is providing exact dimensions and whether those dimensions include a protective case. They custom make each one so it takes a couple of weeks to ship. The ones I had made for Z30 were exact to size ordered.

It was sort of odd. I walked into my local Lious Vuitton store and asked for a passport folio and when I took out my device. The sales person was a bit surprised. So far my solution is working great. I purchased industrial Velcro w/backing at my local art store and cut it to fit. I did not dare place direct on device so it was attached to the hard shell case and so far so good. Its working as a temporary solution until BB comes out with holsters.

I don't understand why BlackBerry hasn't released different cases and sleeves for the Passport at launch??
Still only the flipcase will be released in November.
And for the classic it is known that there will be a holster, swivel, sleeve and case??

I found this horizontal holster yesterday at Best Buy: Platinum Leather Hip Case for Most Cell Phones Up to 5" PT-UNLG2L - Best Buy

I tried it out and it fit my Passport with its hard case on very snugly, but it would definitely be a good fit without the case. Not too tight, but not so loose that it'd jostle around too much. I didn't end up buying it since I'm looking for something a bit different, but it might not be a bad option for some of you.

That's very nice. The only thing I wish was different was the pouch. I wish the sat outside of the pouch like you have it in the first picture lol
