It's buggy...I had one restart. Camera froze up. I don't see any real benefit over 10.3 except now the device monitor works.

Updatet 2 passports, works perfect. updatet 11 apps from BlackBerry world That wasnt there before the update.
And did several manual restarts. so the updates install good.

Still don't have the official update, but was/am very happy with the 10.3.1.1154 leak on my Z30 and experienced no problems.

I am not happy. After loading OS 10.3, everything I open is zoomed in and I can't always get it to zoom out again. Help required please.

My blackberry passport acted strangely (flickering wildly)-did a restart and seems fine.Actually annoyed that nowhere is customer told how new update changes anything already existing on my phone.

I wasn't going to update after reading all of the horror stories but I guess I didn't disable automatic updates and it installed this morning. Thankfully I haven't noticed any of the flickering or other problems. The only minor issue is that my text messages don't have the green dot beside the messages I send vs the messages received in a specific conversation. Overall I'm pleased with the update so far and the camera's AF seems to be a bit improved (which is a huge plus).

Guys finally I updated to new os on passport. 3 updates were done of 470mb, 1.5gb and 73mb.

Till now no new problem. But there is problem with my contacts application from the starting.. it sometimes freezes and sometimes doesn't save the details. Some times in call logs all the contacts name disappear.. only their number is shown.. anyone got any news on this???

I finally gave up waiting on the official update and installed 10.3.1.2267 on my Z30 with an autoloader. I updated from leak 10.3.1.1154, so no huge observable changes but things do seem a little zippier, sound a little louder, and I haven't encountered any of the issues or disappointments some others appear to be having...

So the answer is YES!

Yes. For now. My passport is like beast on steroid now. Love the size option on android apps, used to be zoom out only.

I've had the update for a couple days, I downloaded it on BlackBerry Link. The screen flickered at first, but I restarted and it went away. The things I love:

* The added rectangular zoom out feature, so now I can play even more Android games properly
* Android apps run a lot smoother
* Camera auto focuses much better

For those with quiet notifications after the update. Go into settings notifications. Turn up main volume, then go into each individual application setting and turn it up as well. only after turning up both did mine kick in to a proper volume. It worked for me on a Q10 anyway.

I think they changed the scale of how the slider affects the volume making it have to go way higher to be loud.

As to the OP's question, I think most people are very happy with this update. This is just the usual internet sky is falling response to some incidents. Modern os is way to complex to never have bugs,can't be done anymore I'd say.

I was really afraid to upgrade to 10.3.1.2267 OTA because of all the issues I've read. However, since BB link had a software update for my Passport, I thought what the heck...so I updated from leak .1154 . I'm on the official now and I haven't had any flickering problems, Nor volume issues. Pretty happy so far.

I am very happy with the update. I had a flicker problem but just restarted it and it is flawless. Some people are just overly dramatic and don't take simple steps to prevent or fix issues.

I also like the quickly focus camera. It's supposed to be good right of the bat in 10.3.0 but it doesn't . However, it's good now so I'm happy.
