You can once you memorize the physical keys that map to the symbols you most frequently use. Then all you have to do is swipe down on the keyboard and press that key, and the punctuation/symbol shows up.

It's actually easier than having to press a little alt key and then hitting the physical key that maps to the symbol, because you can swipe anywhere on the keyboard to invoke the 'alt' keyboard.

This is the trick, if you absolutely want to type without looking

Wasn't able to touch type with 100% confidence on the original passport. I'm able to on the AT&T version though.

Yes. I've had a Z10 for two years and the PP for a month now. Just don't understand how I've been able to type without a physical keyboard anymore...Lol!

I can type without looking. The double type I'm now getting however makes some of what I type look like I stutter!

Other than for punctuation, I typed this whole message without looking and I think I was able to do so fairly quickly

Oh and I've been using the passport for about 4 months nowas a daily driver. Before that I was on the Q10

I've been hearing about this. Isn't there a keypress sensitivity adjustment?

In a way! Sometimes with my left hand, I hit the little phone to open phone app. Then I just type in number using the W,E,R,S,D,F,X,C,V keys as a number pad. Don't have to open the keypad link by swiping down.

I was actually just typing today when another teacher asked me a question in the staff room and without thinking I looked up to answer... and continued typing.

I was about 80% accurate, but I've never used a PKB phone before my pp (got it on launch week) and I had never even tried touch typing. I thought it was a great result

honestly when I tried touch screens after having a keyboard it was the ability to touch type I missed the most. It's something you don't think about or realize is super useful untill you have used it.
