You can try the apk-dl method, should net you an apk file that you can just install directly

(browse the official google-play store, and look up WeChat. When in the WeChat app, change the browser link https://play.google.com..... to https:// apk-dl.com.......)

Thanks for the tips. One more thing : Are there any VPN software for BB10? It could be rather inconvenient at times as China tend to lock quite a few foreign websites and programs.

Using Android Wechat here on my Passport. Still not as smooth as iOS but it's not too bad. Much better than Z30, which is much better than than Z10. Haven't tried it on one of those flagship Android phones yet but the Wechat on Passport is definitely way smoother than it on Samsung Galaxy S3.

If you like Wechat and BlackBerry 10, definitely go with Passport, because it's the most powerful berry today.

Prefer native Apps, using as SMS, outdated Wechat is not a big minus. Appreciate all the companies who support in BB Apps World.

Using the native one, hell lack of most function like the sight and video sending.. Each time you receive a new notification the app will just launch itself. I need the sight and video sending tho. Moving to the android ones now!
