Hey is anybody picking up the passport on launch day and is located downtown??!?! I for one will be buying it cash from any carrier who has it off contract....anyone who is doing an upgrade as well let me know we could link up and get it together to share the experience .

I honestly thought the design was ugly but man seeing it in someone's hands and I didn't know it would be that thin and so sexy and the metallic body......and most of all if the specs are true.....damn lol.

I'm thinking about it... depends on the price, the features (since most wasn't released), and if there's rumors for an all touch because if they're going to be releasing a "z50" I'd rather have the 'screen real estate' over the keyboard.

Love the enthusiasm.

I was also meh on this device until I saw the pics of JC holding an actual unit. Then I was instantly hooked! I'm 90% there on buying it on launch day (here's hoping Rogers doesn't abandon the Passport and Classic the way they did the Z30) but my decision to become a day 1 adopter will rely heavily on what I expect to be a full blown review of the device on CrackBerry.

As for the Classic, I'm 100% there and will definitely be picking it up on launch day! That device is my dream BlackBerry!

BTW, I'm also in Toronto.

Awesome!!!!!!! I know for a fact the classic will sell for sure and if the passport is advertised right and once people start to see other people with it it will be a hit. People tend to forget that's how blackberry started to become popular all the big shots only had BlackBerry then it just exploded......I feel like history is going to repeat itself for sure.......

Yep, this is no different than the excitement I had for the Z10. I ordered that on launch day in Canada without seeing it in person. Never regretted it for a second.
I live in Toronto OP, but will be having it shipped. Hope you find some people to share your experience.

I still need to hold it, feel it, play with it, then I will decide on the passport! I will still have the classic to fall back on a couple of months later. Just not looking forward to my two years of early penalty fees either way!
