I had to go back to 10.3.0.1418, did a sic wipe then let link do its job at putting the OS back, restored only media and couple of apps, that's all, everything else was installed fresh. Needed USB2Go and the flickering drove me crazy, had 10.3.1.1010 for couple of weeks then try 1016 it was a no go, then 1151 was a no go also. Went back yesterday to 1418 and man the difference is outstanding. 10.3.1 will have great features when they work and get polished, but 10.3.0.1418 is far more stable for a daily driver and all features work as opposed with 10.3.1.xxxx. On my part I will wait for the official stable version of 10.3.1 and keep 10.3.0.xxxxx.

That. My experience and opinion exactly, once bb release a final 10.3.1 it'll be a great os, but for now I think it's just not stable or reliable enough to be a daily driver.

My experience is totally different. Upgraded this past weekend and everything is so smooth and stable. Experienced the flickering screen but only after I installed Wallpaper Changer HD. I disabled it and stopped it from running headless and the flickering went away.

All android apps work now including the latest Instagram. I can open android app notifications from the hub now and thats one thing I really missed using the last leak. Oh yeah, and of course I'm enjoying all the goodness that comes with the enhancements to 10.3.1. I also haven't needed to charge my phone since 1pm yesterday.

    No way I'm going back.

I'm considering doing the upgrade. I've been testing the OS on my Z10 since it got leaked and haven't had any issues... but I know it's a different device.

The only real benefit to me with this upgrade would be the Android player.

Could each person state their method of updating - Nondestructive, blitz, autoloader with full restore, autoloader with custom restore or autoloader with no restore?

Autoloader with partial restore. Only restored apps and media. Restoring settings from your back up is what causes most problems when u update.

Blitz, from the previous leak (which was an autoloader as my attempt to non-destructively update to that failed and bricked me, so I had no choice.) Hand set up on the previous leak, no restore.

I had significant stability (including outright crash and flickering) problems with the previous leak, typically about one instance per day.

1151 has been rock solid thus far -- 3 days in, no problems.

I did a destructive autoloader because yolo. Everything is working perfectly. And I really think that the camera autofocus has been drastically improved. This is no placebo!

PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.1151, although I don't agonize over the destructive factor of an autoloader (loading dozens of them tends to do that). Much better than 1418 or 1016.

The right most button, custom snooze, makes me very happy with this build.

Upgraded with blitz method earlier today. Haven?t found anything that doesn't work yet. Tried all issues that others have listed and no issues. Custom snooze on meeting notice and a different color LED for each of my five email accounts is great.

When you unlock the phone, how many times you have to swipe from bottom to unlock the phone?

Twice for me. The first time wakes up to lock screen, the second time unlocks.

Question for the ones that updated their passport. I have a Z30 which I updated few days ago and the only thing I find not working are the notifications. The phones does notify me, but I cannot change the ring tone, I don't have that option anywhere. Does this happen to you as well? Thanks a lot.

They changed the setting interface, you have to go settings->notifications->normal->customized app notifications, and then find your app or emails under there for your normal notifications profile settings.

Yes but just noticed I don't get sound notifications when emails come in. Not a big deal for me though

You need to turn sound for email on its off by default.
