I just learned that the U key can function as an On button instead of pushing the power button or swiping up, which I am lousy at preforming properly. Any other undocumented nifty tricks?

There are tons of them! open the help app and look for keyboard shortcuts, you'll be amazed how awesome this thing is.

Edit: apparently they dumbed down the help app.. how strange !
Here's a few off the top of my head:
Hit T to scroll to the top anywhere
B to school to the bottom
U followed by 'enter' on the lockscreen will unlock the device
Start typing on the home screen and it will automatically start universal search
Create keyboard shortcuts to quicklaunch apps
Spacebar acts as a page down
Hold K to password lock the device

That's great stuff. I hit the help tab and it Sent me to a dead page, so I've been using trial and error to find new features. I like the B button, makes it easier to scroll down a long page of forum replies

    When in the browser...

    L reloads the page
P is like the back button and brings you to the previous page
N brings you to the next page, of course if you loaded one before
    K is for the bookmarks
G is for the recently opened websites or the most visited
U selects the url so you can copy it or type in a new one
    S is for the search
    R opens the reading mode
    H shows the history

When you want to delete a picture quickly in the gallery, press the Cancel key

    I'm sure there are more

Is there a way to lock a message on the hub so I don't accidentally delete it?

Life saver for me (handling tons of emails) is de 'i'.
Pressing the i in an email will move the email to a previous selected folder. If no suggestion is available, you can choose one. Next time, it's heaven. Try this in outlook or iPhone.... terrible....
It saves me at least an hour every day.

I use a leather case for my Passport, and every time I open the lid, it wakes up the phone. Closing it will turn it to sleep.

Good question. Also, is there a bin where the deleted stuff goes so you can retrieve it?

Any way to paste a value from the clipboard (using KB shortcut of course)? Something like CTRL-V on Windows.
