Are there any good ones which can utilize the mute button to pause and the volume buttons to skip forth and back between songs?
They don't have to be super high quality in sound, at least the quality of the included blackberry headset would be nice
If possible it would be cool if they can also use the buttons to use the same commands on android phones, just in case if needed

Check out YouTube reviews for the various headsets. I found Treblab and they’re fantastic and inexpensive.
I use Apple Airpods. They connect to BBs without any problem. Cool stuff.

Currently I use Samsung Level U Pro which works like charm!
Buttons work (short press increase / decrease volume and long press next/ previous song and there is 3rd button which starts / stop and answers / reject calls or you can do so by clasps) and for tuning sound you can use latest android version of Samsung level app:https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...sungsoundphone

I grabbed some avantree headphones off amazon that work with the passport. works with pause play answer calls ect.
Got myself Bluetooth headphones by psyc which works great

These taotronics are pretty good and I got them in sale for 31€ instead of 39,99€.
They work both with android and bb10 without issues. I can even pause and skip songs using fasttube
