This issue of highlight and click on copy icon then paste it somewhere else was driving me crazy, but as your suggestion tapping the copy icon 2 - 3 times quickly, paste now working. Thanks!

I also have issues throughout the all OS with copy/paste. It used to be working on 10.2.1, I never installed leaks and I did a security wipe before installing 10.3.1.
Sometimes old text copied is pasted instead of newer occurrences, it drives me nuts
Same here also having a few browser issues where the browser will freeze
PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2243
Works fine here on. Build 2267

I am also on 2267, sometimes it "blinks" but when comes the time to paste.. it's a disaster, I don't remember issues like that on 10.2.1, one step forward 5 steps backwards in my opinion
Just wanting to confirm and thank Gazza and Paul Palik for their observations.
Yes. It was also really bugging me, not being able to copy and paste from Word (Docs to Go) or from Remember but, as suggested, quick tapping 2 or 3 times instead of the regular long press seems to work better.
I have a Q5 and the latest genuine version of 10.3.1.1779 downloaded via BB Link
I have noticed sometimes that after copying if the paste symbol doesn't appear you can type one or two characters and the you will have the option to paste. Obviously need to then delete the initial characters but seems to help

I must say that copy/paste has improved with the latest update to 10.3.2.440.
The paste icon now appears in the phone number box when tapped. Previously you had to push and hold in the box to get the paste window to slide across from the right. You also don't need to tap 2 or 3 times to get it to "take".
Still won't recognise phone numbers in PDF files but it does in Word Docs and you can actually dial from there. Be brilliant if it happened in Acrobat.
