Android WhatsApp on BB10 - Sending images

Before everybody starts beating me I know the way to go via the whatsapp fixer. Already done as per described several times.
Nevertheless I can only send pictures be sending them twice. First attempt to send a pic doesn't work. Second time works fine. I encounter this issue only on my PP SE. On all other BB10 devices it works fine.
Any idea?

Are you using whatsapp version 2.17.427 ? Last I heard this is a very stable version for BB10. It's from December 7th, so about 2 months old right now. Had zero problems with it and whatsfixer.

Tried your proposal. Unfortunately no luck. Problem remains unchanged.
