The last word regarding the Android Passport stated it was for testing purposes only. Although this was just another set of rumors.

I hope not. Blackberry 10 is a really fantastic OS. I used a passport in the past but suffered the screen lifting issue. Did not want to deal with that. The passport is a solid device. If they can manage to make it a tad bit slimmer and fix the screen lifting issues....I would purchase again.

Chen called me about 10 minutes ago, so it's funny you should ask. No, BlackBerry is going back to pagers because they run on 2 AA's and everybody loves that. Any other unanswerable questions I can ask him before he has to go?

Yes, I have indeed heard that the Android Passport shall soon be released.

    On the planet Zoltar.

Unfortunately, the mothership is out of gas and we shall have to wait until the Zoltarians come to deliver it in person.

Hopefully they have better luck landing than the Roswell aliens did.

We still don't know what the 'BlackBerry Android' actually is, so no, it won't be any time soon.

Depends of how the BlackBerry-Android based OS will be accepted & become profitable and of course, if there are still old inventories of Passport hardware... (since I believe that most of them are used already for 'Silver Edition')

I hope so also. It would be great for more people to try it and see how great the Passport line is. That would ensure the longevity of the device line as well. Put Windows and android on it lol

Part of what makes the Passport so great is how well it flows with the OS. It's going to be interesting to see how functional the capacitive keyboard on the Slider will be. Within Android apps on the Passport, the capacitive keyboard doesn't add anything.
