As more apps become unavailable for OS10 and my love of my current Passport, I've seen rumours of a new Android based Passport. Is there any reliable release dates for this? I'm looking to buy the Priv soon but if this new Passport is coming out, I'll wait for that one for sure.

There's a few theories I have.
First, it could be the Vienna, then the Android Passport, or vice versa.
Or, the Android Passport and the Vienna are the same thing. Unfortunately, there isn't any release date for the Vienna or Android Passport, or even any specs.

That would definitely be something!!
I'm currently using the att passport and am still struggling with the lack of app support... since not all apps are able to be used on BB10
But I love this OS and phone

There's a lot of people who have, like or want Android and the amazing Passport form factor would be a killer. I really like my Passport SE with BB10 so not sure whether I would like to have Android on it (or in a Passport 2) but this is my humble opinion...

android on passport is not a bad idea, passport with updated spec! But BlackBerry would be trying hard to sell the device. Considering not all love an odd designed device.

50/50 but then again it is a long shot, may or may not happen. It has been discussed in previous threads in detail, I believe.

I'm not hating or anything, I've got 2 passports (one SE), a Z30 and a Z10. I do want BlackBerry to succeed but we also have to take reality into factor.

Hi, personally the gesture based OS on the passport is what makes it so slick, sliding in and out of the hub etc.

I personally wouldnt mind it, im in love with the square design any way, and the reality is BlackBerry 10 is dead. No use being in denial, the fb and whatsapp thing confirms it

Even Windows 10 got the go ahead above blackberry 10.

And that mobile OS is absolute junk!

GMD Gesture Control on Android (need root) and TouchMe Gesture Studio on Windows make navigating the OS's using gestures way better than the limited capabilities of BB10. Just saying.
