Android apps
Hey,
A week ago I upgraded my software version so before the update I deleted all the android apps I had in order to have a smooth update with a nice battery life.
But in these couple of days I find it really hart to manage with out some of those apps I used to have.
So I guess I'll have to download them back. The question is in which way?
Before I used to use the Google Play procedure which was published here somewhere but now I wanted to know what is the most recommended way to download android apps as I know the Google play option is not the only one.
In addition before downloading a specific app is there any way to check if it will drain the battery?
Thanks

The only way to find out about apps is to read the reviews: battery drain, or other issues might be mentioned.
You can try seeing if the app is in the Amazon Store and download it from there. The Cobalt method and SNAP are other ways.
some folks find the apk files on the web for some apps. There are some other 3rd party methods but I don't use them and don't really follow that.

There's plenty of ways to get the app you want doesn't have to be necessarily from google play store you can just download the apk and install it battery drain also depends on what app it is
