Amazon re-stocking date?

I hope this isn't one of those dreaded duplicate posts (don't worry, I won't ask anything about VZM). I searched and couldn't find any ideas on this, but I may very well have missed it.

That being said, does anyone have any idea when Amazon will be taking orders again? I see that Shop Blackberry says they "will start shipping October 6th.", I'm hoping that Amazon will have stock then as well.

The fact that the PP has been removed from Amazon altogether (third party sellers not withstanding) makes me think that it may be sometime before it's available on Amazon. However I'm not a Amazon power user so it's removal may be normal for an item that is out of stock.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to place an order when they said they'll ship as soon as available. I'm thinking they'll get stock in the next couple days.

Just looked now on Amazon and it says available for shipping on October 8th. However, it is through a third party and the price has gone way up! ($849!!)

I ordered it yesterday for $599...but who knows when it'll show up? As long as I get it before January 2015...I get the Chase Freedom points!

Shopblackberry.com said they would be getting more in on October 6th, so I assume Amazon will get their shipment of them too.
