So this pops up on the Amazon Passport page:
"Item Under Review
This item is currently unavailable because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!)
We're working to fix the problem as quickly as possible."
Likely due to the defective first shipments that went out (majority of complaints here were only from the first ones) and they had to do a proper inventory analysis?
Pure speculation here though lol

Maybe we should get this thread deleted before some ***** reads the title and starts more negative rumors... Getting tired of reading negative rumors about Blackberry/the Passport. Good inspecting though, OP...

Delete thread before rumor troll appears please?
Or rename and say not actually? :P
So many idgits who fully believe their idiotic assumptions that they make about random facts or details that they should have just read into -.-

Usually that happens for an incorrect description or error in the product specifications.
edit: Yep, they upgraded the description. This wasn't in the product bullet list before:
-Among the major US carriers, this banding is not compatible with CDMA based networks (Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular)
- Minimum Rated Standby Time: 432hrs Hearing Aid Compatibility (HAC) Rating: M4
They should add:
"Potentially bends when sitting on it in your back pocket. If so customer is required to immediately post review with pictures of bend phone and picture of him or herself." ;-)

I bought mine from them the first hour it was available,.. nothing wrong with it. Dejahn hoarded them all thankfully.
I'm not saying all of them, I'm just saying most of the defective or weaker built ones were the Amazon first few batches :P

Sorry, but how can you make this claim? What is your statistical evidence? Maybe you have the hard data. If so, please post it here, with your source. You have a right to your opinion but if that what this is, please say it's your opinion, not a fact.

Probably. First shipments were indeed defective. I went through 3 handsets before I got a new shipment device.

I can verify it was there this morning but the seller was not BlackBerry it was some other seller. I was on the train when I saw it on my Z10 and forgot when I got to work to check and post.....my bad.
I checked the BlackBerry seller and it wasn't there so I figured it was just that seller.
All is well on the Passport front now.
I believe it could be the keyboard loose keys/ double clicking issues. Some folks I know had the KB issue and sent it back to Amazon, perhaps that triggered it.
Or it could be the autofocus camera hardware malfunction (another known issue). who knows
Why an Apple Fan boy would have bought a BlackBerry Passport $600 US dollar first, just for complaining about BlackBerry? And have enough Apple Fan boy buying a BlackBerry Passport to significantly induce Amazon to issue a warning....
Conspiracy theories....
I suggest pills, physician, psychotherapy and necessarily not in that order....
