This looks like the best deal for a new, unlocked Passport yet. I recently bought a Q10 as my backup device in the event that BlackBerry halts BB10 support or if the non-replaceable batteries in my Z30 and Classic fail. But today's Prime Day price makes this deal awfully tempting!

I am wondering would be who's selling this device as low as it is? Would it be BlackBerry taking a hit on their margins or would it be Amazon trying to move stock?

I am on the fence. The deal is rock solid but the truth is I don't need another phone TODAY! I am going to get a Passport SE maybe in the fall or for my birthday in December.

Just trying to gauge if these prices might be around come the fall if BlackBerry is trying to move product.

I bought it new from Amazon for $460 three weeks ago. Wouldn't have cared if it went to $200 in a few months. Today I feel a little bit ripped off... :-(

It wasn't a matter of patience - I didn't know 'Amazon Prime Day' existed. If I did, I would have gladly waited for the substantial discount so soon...

The device is priceless. Couple hundred bucks here or there doesn't make a dent in the amount of time this puppy saves. :-)

Starting to think that inventory might be low and we maybe seeing the last of the Passports on Amazon??

I am still thinking about it myself but a little way of Amazon for phones. Never bought one on there before.

I am in Canada and will get it shipped to a friend's house in California. I don't need a new phone but the price is hard to pass up. Don't forget about the $15 discount if your a Crackberry user too. On the front page a few days ago there was a promo about it.


Anybody else here purchased this device from Amazon?

Mine will be delivered tomorrow. Just got my account set up with AT&T this afternoon. Moving number from Verizon. Very pleasant experience.

I called Verizon to see if I had an active password/pin to help in the number transfer from Verizon to AT&T. The customer asked me why I was moving a line to AT&T and I told her because Verizon didn't sell the Passport. She said , "Hold on and let me make sure we don't have any." I chuckled.
