    Sorry to **** on your party but you should have read the fine print, the price is higher because it's not amazon that's selling the phone it's a third party company.

    The 599$ was amazon who was selling and shipping.

    They are simply sold out from blackberry store which includes amazon store. These are third party sellers who want to make a quick buck. This is a good news for Blackberry, means there is a high demand for this particular device.

    If you live in Canada, simply walk into a future shop, a Best Buy, or a Telus store, and you can buy it in person.
    When I checked Amazon.ca the PP was not even available for order yet... Amazon.ca always sucks.
