    There is some issue with the amazon app store. It is giving me a notification of update but won't update. Also I can't download any application from Amazon. It just goes to installation and hangs there. Anyone out there with same problem

    Yeah I've got the same prob on PassportSQW100-1/10.3.2.500. Thought it was just a problem with this os.

    I've had these issues too but no longer. Have you tried a soft reset? I do this occasionally and it seems to help settle some OS quirks.

    Try this:

    Open the 'Appstore'...

    Go to Appstore Setting...

    Click the 'Version and Release Note'...

    Then click the 'Check for Update' button...

    Usual, if you don't have the latest version, it should show that update (or new version) is available...

    I just want it gone now. I'm sick of the stupid red asterisk in my Hub all the time. I've been happy using Snap all along. More Apps available and no issues.

    I really don't mind using amazon app store but amazon app has updates very frequently and it's bit annoyed. I think they update their app store at least twice a week.

    I have another problem. After the last update a couple of days ago, the Store crashes as soon as I start looking for apps starting with "z"! Isn't that weird, to say the least?

    That's really weird glitch! But if you enter different letter first e.g. 'a' then enter the 'z', it will be OK...

    Open Amazon App Store, go to 'Settings' then to 'Version and Release Notes', open and tap 'Check For Update'

    After I DL'd the update, the notices stopped.

    Don't use the update. It will crash and every app associated with it will not work. Something is very wrong.

    I am dealing with the exact same issue on my BlackBerry Classic. I've changed settings, made sure to set the download to unlimited. Nothing works.

    Snap works just as well as Amazon Appstore
