    I just switched passports due to some hardware issues. Had to start from scratch for my first Passport cause Amazon App store wouldn't open from a restore from my Z30. Finally reloaded all my Apps from "my world" and snap.
    Now I did a restore from old to the new Passport and now the same problem. Amazon closes immediately after white window appears for shared files, etc. What gives? Does anyone have any ideas?

    Probably because you did a restore from another device. Its been reported to cause some issues(reported in several threads). Best advice is to start clean and add the accounts back manually.

    No. I did that from my Z30 to the first Passport. Now I did a restore from first Passport to my replacement. With same issue. I don't want to go through all that again.

    You restored from another device that probably didn't have the same OS version. Redownload the amazon app store and you'll be fine. If not, all you need is Snap app market anyway. Amazon app store has far fewer apps than the Snap app market. Have fun

    Seems like all android apps including the appstore ignore the unchecked run while minimized setting in permissions ugh resulting in battery drain

    Do a device update from the BlackBerry site. It will work after that. Adam did an article on here of how to do it. When you are done don't restore applications and you should be fine. If i find the link I'll come back and post it.
