The clarity is so good... I genuinely prefer reading on my passport more than on my iPad (mini). Granted it's not a retina display version... but still. In comparison, the letters seem grainy on the iPad and white background is just simply too bright... dimming it just makes everything... dim.

But on the passport... everything is easy on the eyes, the colors are rich and vibrant. It's so good, more than makes up for the screen size difference between the two devices.

That much was to be expected. BlackBerry's primary customers are business people afterall. But I never compared it to an iProduct - I didn't know it was THAT good!

Screen clarity was one of my deciding factor when I purchased my Passport.

    Long live Blackberry.

It must be good. My coworker keeps staring at my phone repeating "I love your phone screen. I want to steal your phone. "

He wishes he could order one but corporate will only let him have an iPhone or a Samsung.

Yes, the BlackBerry Passport is a reader's delight. Very good balance between screen size, readability and portability. I can notice that my time reading or checking PDF files on the Passport has increased so much making the IPAD mini redundant. Also writing longer texts is far easier due to the screen / keyboard combination. Definitely the industrial designers at BlackBerry made a big effort defining the proportions of this device.
