I had been pondering the Passport since it was released, but as soon as I saw the SE I pulled the trigger immediately. So far it is fantastic.

The silver edition made me pull the trigger also and I've never been happier with the purchase. The phone just feels so elegant.

The Specs on the Passport are top notch. OS 10 isn't built to be in a specs race, the Passport needed refinement and here it is. Most of us blackberry users appreciate the re design and are more than happy with the exact same specs. The phone is $550 brand new unlocked with a ton of accessories. Iphones and androids with the same specs retail for 700-900$ and they still lag etc. The Passport is a great device I'm glad they recognize that and refined it accordingly.

I am back to blackberry once again from my samsung because of the silver edition. This did not ever cross my mind 1 year back when they release the original passport on various color. Only the silver edition does.

I've been on my SE Passport for four weeks now. Not regretting a thing. This was one of the best purchases I've made. Coming from a six month exile in the Note 4 jungle after two years on a Z10. Battery life sucked royally on the Note 4, and everyone I know who has one is complaining about the battery life.
So here I am with my shiny new Passport getting two days of battery life. Just too bad that I can't have bonding time with all my Samsung and Apple friends around the charging stations at the airports anymore.

To each his own. If you like or love it, buy it. Keep BlackBerry handsets selling. It's what's going to keep them in business.

Nope, if I wanted an SE I'd just buy one. I don't feel 'cheated', I just see the Silver Edition as tacky as hell. The design is horribly inconsistent and it looks cheap.

I like the back and the front is not my idea of nice but I bought it anyway. It's great phone and more stable in the hands than the original blackberry Passport. Also the keyboard feel nice and works great. Must say after a week I don't care and move on. The phone only costed me 200 euro thanks to blackberry trade up en discount.

I have to eat my words. Originally I was going to keep the black one. I ended up selling the black one and got the silver one. Extremely satisfied and have no regrets.

Actually the Z30 and the Passport SE are the two best electronic devices I've ever owned, used, or tried in my life.

Okay! I admit it! I'm a hypocrite! Upon first viewing of the initial pictures I trashed the thing but with each subsequent photo it has grown on me. Now I want it.

Will not be getting unless the lottery ticket and my Original (had since November '14) is fine (with the exception of the doubble typing issues i've had since the last update).

Meanwhile I'll be guilty of the sin envy.

Not necessarily but the original passport has that originality or uniqueness about it and besides had the SE been released first and the original squared passport now, we will be all over it. Who wouldn't want the latest device
