    Good day fellow Passport owners,

I was just pondering how if there was a physical ALT Key for the Passport, I would have tremendously liked this device more.

I purchased this phone believing that I had enough visual display space. I had not realized the virtual keyboard would be so large and almost interrupt my day to day usage.

Ugh, I believe if there was only one like MAX of symbols that I can preset and a physical ALT Key this device would have been exactly what I wanted.

    Damnit BLACKBERRY, hire me!

Alt key is swipe down. Learn the gestures.

Although I've never owned a Classic/Q10 with a physical alt key, I really like how BlackBerry combined a physical with virtual keyboard for symbols on the Passport. I find it easy to use and I don't think it takes up that much screen space.

And how do I use that in the CrackBerry app? Menu actions say "Alt+key", how do I invoke them with that gesture?

Totally agree OP. The keyboard is probably one of the things I dislike the most on the Passport. I must admit that I never owned one, and therefore don't know how easy it is to get used to it, but I don't like the idea at all.

Obviously I'm not talking about that specifically. But swipe down while typing is the Alt equivalent when typing.
