I got my new Passport Silver Edition but after about 6 days the sensors stopped working properly. At first they would become unavailable the fix themselves if I just left my phone, but now their always unavailable. Even after a restart or hard reset.

I've backed up, factory reset etc from the phone and BlackBerry link but still not working. Any ideas?

Run the BBVE (BlackBerry Virtual Expert) app. It will functionally test all sensors and you'll find out whether it's a hardware issue. If it is, send it back.

I have run it several times, it just says all the sensors are unavailable and fails every test

Never mind the test... consider reloading the OS, it might only be a faulty BAR-file

If those sensors are working before then they stopped, there are two possibilities. The first one (and should easily can be fixed) is a software issue i.e. probably corrupted by some apps you installed. And to fix this, you just need only to reload the latest official OS. There are so many ways to do this, you need only to push that 'Search' button to see your options.

The second factor is actually a no-easy-fix scenario i.e. hardware. If they are somehow damaged, the only option is to replace your device with a new one. But it is more unlikely that all sensors will be damaged at the same time unless of course, your device has been subjected to harsh accidental situation such as diving in a pool or fallen from 3 feet height to a hardened concrete floor. If none of those physical damaging situations occurred, you can start the 'reloading' approach.

    Good luck!

I've done a factory reset twice, reloaded the OS and still nothing. After contacting BlackBerry support they said to take it back to where I got it for a replacement

So the hadware is damaged... I'd get a replacement like advised. Sorry.

Put the phone in direct sunlight bet you they start working again. Happened with mine not long ago. put it on the dash in hot sun daylight which trigger them back haven't had any issues since
