I would suggest starting a new thread on forums with the title BlackBerry Telstra Petition or something like that. You might get a lot more hits.

For those that are interested, TopBuy Australia have the passport available for $707.05 and with shipping the total is $748.00 delivered. Cheapest price that I have found for us Aussies. I have dealt with them before and they are great to deal with, just ordered mine and wait time is listed as 3-7 business days. Here is the link for those interested:

That's awesome mate. Let us know of the experience when it turns up.

Just as an aside, what's their warranty like?

    Hi Chap,
Yeah pretty stoked with the price, never had an issue or had to deal with them as far as warranty goes but they are now owned by Deals Direct, which is a pretty big online seller in itself, and are now located in Ingleburn (topbuy was a customer of mine up until 6 months ago when they were taken over) Check out the site, lots of good feedback. Will keep you posted when it arrives.

    Hi AladarMegza,
Yes, pretty happy with price. Was going to get a red one but gave up waiting for Amazon to allow me to get it (they won't post to Australia). Also pretty hard to justify an extra $100+ for red, but boy it looks sweet!

Forgot to add, 12 months warranty but supposedly an option for extended warranty but I couldn't see option to add at checkout.

Very tempted to upgrade to this fellow, the leather flip case hasn't endured the harsh Aussie climate well. Already starting to get splits long the seams.

    Hi Guys,

Just to let you know that i'm selling my Passport on a famous website, very recently imported from Amazon US.
The reason of selling is that I've purchased a 2nd one, in white ! (on it's way !!!)
(With this second delivery I will receive the OEM hard shell and the Amzer case, and I will sell one of them, stay tuned!).

I've just opened the box and turned it on to update the software.
It is as fresh as new !

it comes with everything thing, including an US charger...
You will just need the adaptor.

Give me a buzz if you are interested.

Well this is my Optus experince today.

Go to the Sydney CBD store in George St, look around no Passport!

So wait in line for 10 minutes before i get served, i ask if they have the new Passport to look at?

Yes we have the Passport, BAM !!, I'm in luck finally.

Can i have a look and feel please or point me in the direction, AHHH sorry NO!

Ahh how come? I would like to see it and look at the phone, NO sorry i can not open the box!

Yes i have seen pictures, Yes i have read teh specs but i would like to hold and feel it first, being the shape it is, is it really for me?

These are all the standard questions i ask myself before i would purchase a phone.

So i walked out empty handed still not able to touch or see a Passport in real life

Anyone using a passport in Au, did you have to alter any settings at all, or was it just plug(in the sim) and play?
