    So I tried turning on all the advanced interactions: waking the phone when I lift it, flip to save power, and flip to mute. They don't seem to function at all. I've tried rebooting, but it doesn't seem to matter. Could the sensors be damaged? is there a way to test them? anything else I can try to get these features enabled?

    Try the bbve (blackberry virtual expert) diagnostic software that came with your phone. Or download it from bbw if it didn't.

    Thanks! It seems like all the sensors are functioning properly (and that's a relief). Advanced interactions still not working though. That's the darndest thing. Any ideas on how to get the advanced interactions to work? Thanks again!

    Well, if you've tried a hard reboot (up and down volume buttons until phone restarts), then you may just need to wait for the OS update that is coming soon.

    A security wipe might fix it too, but you may not want to do that.

    Its has a bug. I noticed that too. So I have disabled it all

    Its working well for me on Z30...
    I guess people on z30/ classic are facing less bugs as the OS was intended for these models... others are having more problems...

    Which device do you have?
    I use these feature on the passport, although it's not 100 percent reliable so I turned it off. The time that it didn't work was really annoying.

    I experienced the reliability issue as well. But it usually is resolved after soft reset.

    My PP is running OS 30.3.0.1418, Software release 10.3.0.908 from Telus and all functions work fine.
