    Hi,

I'd like to add support for the BlackBerry Passport in Torch Flashlight - in particular the display of the device buttons and ports.

If you are interested, just download the app (if you don't have it already) and send me a full-size screenshot of the Screen Light section. Then I can start mapping out the buttons to support your device.

    Thanks.

Even if I don't see the point of a torch app when you can have it in the quick setting menu...

Why don't you get a simulator?

One of the features of Torch Flashlight is to display the location of the external buttons and ports of the device, which you can't get from the simulator.

Thanks for the screenshot. Can you load this image on your Passport and tell me what adjustments need making to the arrows so that they point to the center of the button/port, e.g. arrow 5 needs to be moved 1.5 squares to the left, etc.

Move headphone (5) one square to the right.
Move 4 (power) 8 squares to the right.
Move 3 (volume up) to the second line from the top.
Move 2 (mute/play/assistant) 1 and half squares from where 3 is now.
Move 1 (volume 1) 2 and half squares from where 3 is now.
Move 6 (USB) to the exact center (half square to the left).

Anyway, for 6 there is the space bar that helps.

I've updated the image with the adjustments, can you check if they are right? The volume keys seem quite close together so I don't know if I've done them correctly.

When I set reference to number 3, I meant the number 3 of your image, before moving it.

That's what I thought initially but you didn't put a direction so I went with the new location. Can you let me know what adjustments need making to the current image. Are the others in the correct place? Thanks.

Relative to current position (second version):
    3 down half square
    2 down 3 squares
1 down 5 and half squares

I'd say move it to the middle of the square to the left in my opinion

Ah yeah, in my head I read that as being 1 square, not half square X_X

    Same thing! :P

The new version is almost ready. Does anyone with a BlackBerry Passport want to test it?
