You could possibly set up auto forwarding to another account, but I wouldn't recommend that if you will be sending email from that Microsoft Exchange account.

Unfortunately, our IT team's reply wasn't good - they don't allow app passwords.
It seems there is no other alternative. outlook apk requires android 5+, older version for some reason shows "server is offline" after 2FA codes.
What a disaster. I love my passport but it becomes very difficult to use for my needs. The only thing left is calls/texts.
