Yes, I had tried that prior to posting but it didn't help. After the deletion I mentioned in my post, BBW disallowed me to reinstall the app and said it wasn't for my device.

However, after another hard reset, it allowed me to reinstall it.

Weird stuff. I guess this is why the blitz method for update is secondary to a fresh install.

Just updated my pport to 10.3.3.1435 and everything seems to be working just fine.

Why update if the former OS is just fine ? My OG Passport runs 10.3.2.2836 and so far so good. I have no intention to update my OS. Why indeed "upgrade" if there's no bugs to be fixed or if the improvements are not worthwhile ?

Because the browser is really outdated. I can't even visit websites I need because of 'security risks'. But it was just that the certificates were outdated on 10.3.2.
Now I can use them. If the browser stops to work, there will be no point anymore in using a BB10 device other than for emailing and calling.

Apologies for cross posting but my Passport just started an OTA update to 10.3.31435 today. So I guess Blackberry is pushing the upgrade to the last few tranches of BBOS10 devices. I really wonder why some people got it so much sooner than others. Were there problems with the implementation on Passports?... In support of this hypothesis I notice how the version number has crept steadily upwards on the last few digits over the months. I wonder what they patched?

United Kingdom. It's actually 10.3.3.1435, I think a decimal point was missing on one of the dialogues that displayed during the install.

Internet browser sucks; got opera from amazon, phone got heated in a couple of minutes;
At least those guys at BB should support their own browser right?
