Which sim card do you have in it?

They come from the SIM in your phone. It doesn't actually need to be activated if you are on wifi. In other words, if you had a Rogers SIM in your phone and you are connected to wifi and checked for updates you would get this update.
The other option is to use Sachesi, which you can find as a stick in the leaked OS forum. I am using Sachesi now, and 97% through the update.
I noticed that the update fixed the @123 key. Mine would always open and close right away

Was just about to say. The camera is a bit snappier too. Auto focus is 100 times better.

Bought from shopblackberry.com and I've currently got a T-Mo sim in my Passport, no update is showing in the software update screen. Looks like I'd need to use Sachesi to do the update. Kinda seems backwards, it was always the carrier releases that were delayed from BB branded device releases. Sure, as soon as I'm on the other side of the fence they mix up their tactics...
I'm with Rogers.

I hope this update fixes the light sensor bug.
The keyboard doesn't backlight when it's all dark. And the screen goes to full brightness!
Then when there's lowlight, the backlit keys turn on and the screen dims.
It's so annoying

Me too thanks goodness I hated that bug

The light/dark theme bug also seems to be fixed. I can now set it in contacts, which refused to let me switch it before. @123 button seems to work better too, as others have said.

Have you tried booting up your phone without a sim card in it?
Anyway, I just loaded it using sachesi and they don't seem to have broken anything. Lol

I know, it was such a ****-off. I dreaded sending numbers!!! Lol

Hahahah me too I used to type out the numbers in words instead of actual numbers

Hasn't fixed that issue with mine.

Mine never had the issue and my keyboard back lighting still works so I can't tell you if the issue was addressed in the update.

I have an unlocked Passport with Telus, no update so far.
I decided to swap out my Rogers SIM from my iPhone to get the update. I am hoping the 123 button fix that has been mentioned will make me even happier than I already am with the PP
I never had that issue with the keyboard numbers, but I'm glad it's fixed for everyone!

Installed on my Vodafone UK Passport using Sachesi.
All good, not found any bugs as yet.
What country are you in and on what carrier?
Still nothing notably different here on Rogers Passport besides the dark theme fixes :/

It was a small update. Fixed a few annoying bugs that people were finding. Wasn't expected to be anything major.

I suppose that makes sense seeing as it was a mandatory update on the Rogers network

Let me guess, you were *not* the groom or best man, right? :D
