    Hi everyone,

I want to check with everyone how their battery is behaving:

How long does it last (average battery life)?
    Normal or heavy user?
    How old is your Passport?

I have a 3 months old Passport, normal user, 19 hours average battery life, though sometimes it only last for about 12 hours.

    24 hours on an average

Normal use, e.g. calls, texts, BBM, emails, etc

    Since September 2015

I've had my Passport since the launch day in Canada. Except for a couple of days when a rogue Android app was sucking my battery, I've had no issues with battery life. I finish most days with over 10% remaining. And I really pound this thing. Email (300+), calls, BBM, music. Oh yeah, moderating on the Forums as well. I'm almost always over 6Gb for data a month, so that gives a good idea of its usage.

I charge it every 24 hours as a rule, and use it heavily, wifi most of the time, some data. It's usually at 24-30 % when I charge it. Business and personal use all day. The battery seems to have improved in the last 6 mos.

One year and 3 months in with my OG Passport and I am getting 24-36 hours on mine but I am a moderate user with only about 8-10 android apps. I leave bluetooth, nfc, automatic stories and location services off until I need them, but I have my screen brightness at about 75%.

I am one of those most heavy users. On heavy use days, 10-12 hours. On my working days, which are the weekend, 16-18 hours. Got my Passport three days after launch. The current circle is 360 times. Still working fine.

About the same, but depends on context as well. On work days 12-14 hours unless I am using heavy voice (2 or more hours continuous) , then I'll get 10-12. Weekends I have gotten 20-24 depending on availability of WiFi, as it is mostly text, surfing, and apps, very little voice.

Passport. It's not as big as you think it is.

I took my first Passport on 25th September 2014.
    Age : About 16 months
    Usage : Heavy User .
Battery Life : About 11-12 hours on a normal working day. On holidays when there is not much traffic it lasts about 18 hours IMHO. This pattern is from beginning .

Looks like you took it off the charger around 7am or so.... and it hit 25% at 9pm...

I don't know about anyone else but I'd say 12+ hrs straight on one charge is a good thing.

I've had my Passport (unlocked from Amazon) since October, 2014. With my typical usage, which I would describe as moderate / average, I used to faithfully get 24-28 hours before needing to find the charger. Immediately after the September, 2015 update, and continuing with the subsequent update, I've consistently averaged around 15 hours, sometimes less. I know battery life degrades over time, but this change was immediate and significant. It's still better than most phones, but suffice it to say I'm a little disappointed. Still considering a factory reset and reinstall. I'm open to suggestions.

Thats one of the things I am noticing.

I bough a Passport back in October 2014 and used it until April 2015 and usually got around 20+ hours on a working Day (heavy use) and 2 days in the weekend.

Bought another one in November 2015 and Im getting around 18 hours tops o moderate use and around 14 on heavy use.

I dont know if something changed with the OS, but one of the reasons de Bought the Passport again was the very long battery life.

This is what mine looks like but I really suspect that I am having a OS problem sucking my battery dry. Too lazy for fresh install.

I've had my passport since October 2014. I'd say I'm a fairly light user, just calls, emails, texts, whatsapp and some browser use. Not many apps installed, mainly browser short cuts, and no android apps or ports.

I tend to charge it up overnight as a rule, but if I forget I don't have a problem getting through 48 hours on a single charge.

One year of use here. Normally I get 24h+ of battery, however some android applications and the resettling the OS after an update can deplete the battery very quickly. Tweaking app permissions and allowing for the OS to settle solve those issues.
Long gone are the days of searching for a wall outlet to charge. :-)
