I just purchased this device that has these yellow/orange markings. Its a SQK 100-1which concerns me because I live in Canada and it seems to be meant for foreign market to North America. What are these markings?

I assume you mean markings on the keys?

Those are different alphabet markings. I don't know which ones you have, but since it's a Porsche phone it's probably Arabic.

Sorry fore not being clear - yes on the keyboard pictured in the post's link. I don't believe it is Arabic. I seem to be able to use the Rogers LTE and HSPA bands and the 100-1 has the right frequencies. Still curious though. The box says "P'9983 Hong Kong" so a wild guess makes me think it is Asia. Not sure if I should return it just for 5 of symbols.

Hard to see I agree but two of them appear on the W and S keys.

Agreed. I ordered a replacement q10 keyboard that came from China that had those same symbols.

If it works on your network fine, than don't worry about the symbols.
