So if I buy an unlocked PD9983, do I simply take the sim card from my AT&T Passport and place it in the PD? Is that all it takes?

Keep in mind, you'll need a SIM adapter. Passport uses NanoSIM. P'9983 uses MicroSIM. Of course, if you don't want to use an adapter, you can get AT&T to swap your SIM.

I guess sometimes I have more money than sense, even though I don't have tons of either. I have a pile of Blackberry phones from over the years, and I'm slow to change. I've even been tempted to give the old Bold a run.
