i have been lucky enough to own both the silver and the graphite version of the p9983 ,at the same time .
both running the same os ,checked side by side yet the silver one had all the Porsche extras ,ringtone ,wallpaper splash screen etc
yet my graphite version has only the Porsche font
no matter what os i load i can never get the extras
any ideas peeps
I am interested of buying the phone but really still did not decide between graphite or silver one, hope to get some suggestions....

Do your own homework. People on here will only have had the experience of one due to the cost. (my opinion). Please do let us know what you decided on.:raised-eyebrow:
i have done my homework ,and didn't find the answer ,so this was my next move ,to ask genuine owners ,of both colours ,on a forum dedicated to the p9983
for your information,not that i need to explain,i sold one to fund the other and noticed the difference and merely wanted to know if any others had experience of it.

Have you tried calling the pd stores?
As I understand graphite is fresher, so to say, I probably go with graphite.
I really do not care about some small differences, besides, I need this phone for business. Passport is good but very inconvenient size and I definitely not going to buy priv on android, I have other equipment in my garage to dig...
My understanding the phone should carry 2 main preferences :good OS
And convenience in use....
