I think bbm is dead as are the groups. Well there's a payed version still available, but I don't suspect any traffic on that platform.

I fired up my p9983 a couple of weeks ago with the ambitious intentions of replicating all of my must-have apps that I normally use on my KEY devices. Sadly, I can only get about half of them to work (from Yalp) and just gave up. I've been converted to Android ever since the PRIV. I am now spoiled and can no longer deal with a compromising experience. BB10 is still amazing, but my needs go well beyond email, texts and calls.

As a piece of hardware though, the p9983 is just so slick and is such a compact and tidy device. Why oh why is there no market for a compact qwerty running Android in 2020???

My P9983 is more like a hobby - I don't assume ill ever have the full abilities as on a modern Android/ios phone.

My daily driver is a S10. For me it is just fun to use this device from time to time - here or in my office - knowing this was once a 2000 dollar device.....maybe only a Dozent active.

I'd looooove to see a Classic style modern adroid phone.

I still remember the first xmas with the Classic- so much fun, so much typing. I use a S10 now....but oh boy I'd love to have smaller pkb device as my daily driver.
