I loved my 3 Q10s with the exception of the horrible dim screen. Is it the same poor quality in the P'9983?

I don't feel it is so dim, and like it's pixel density vs the classic.

Look at a z30 this is a dim display.

Buy the 9983 you will not find such an awesome hardware in a small package .

The form factor is enticing and the hardware is the Q10 which is fine but that screen was too dim for my liking. Shame they didn't use a LCD. Or better quality amoled.

I keep my Q10 on the lowest brightness setting and turn it up when needed, sure the Z10 screen is very good but for the efficiency of a communication device it's perfect for my uses.

I do not understand why you say it is dim.

I have my Q10 in the lowest dimness and it is still bright enough.

The super Amoled screen of the Q10 / P'9983 even at the lowest lighting level is very rich and bright for me.

I do not mean that it is a malfunction or black pixels. But there is not enough precision to disappear the pixels. That is, the image looks like the old low-resolution Nokia devices. The screen has been oled by checking the black color. The screen may be replaced by a non-original? Is there a screen has a non-original oled technology ?? sorry bad English

Have Q10's which has very bright screens but in sunlight must use in shade. Otherwise there great phones when used as intended.
    Overall an excellent communication tool.

I have never had an issue with the screen, and it seems sharp to me. However, each to their own as long as it meets your needs.

Screen of course can be much brighter - no comparison to a modern Samsung one (S8 /S9 /S10).
