    Owner of silver p9981, does yours p9981 upper portion fade off easily? ( silver top porsche design chassis). Anyway to resolve this prob?

    Actually not only this particular upper portion, but also the metal portion on the rear cover with the camera and the led flash light as well. May have to obtain spare parts in this case. Do not believe the condition could be improved with any metal polishing.

    This type of problem should never have happened to any USD2000 mobile phone at all.

    Yap. That really is an saw eye for me. Handle it with care but still couldn't keep it in tip top condition.

    It is not your fault. It must have something to do with the finishing of material being used for those portions of the 9981.

    I believe the finishing being used with the black model is different. So may not have the same issue.
