Compared to a Torch (98XX) opening up this for replacement/repair would be a cake walk.

Hmmm interesting...But I could never pay so much for a handset.... far worst to even open it up
I found a disassembly video.
The vid actually goes through the steps for both 99XX and P9981. P9981 starts at the 9:35 mark.
It's not a full teardown but it does get open it up to the point where you see the insides.
