I use Q5 BlackBerry leather case for my Porsche Design 9981. Believe both Bold 9000 & 9900 leather case are too tight for 9981.

I have tried the 9900 leather case, too tight for sure. As for the Q5 one, it is much better, not tight and not loose either. You can try. Believe you will find it acceptable too, unless you want to spend another USD189-389 for a Porsche Design leather case for 9981 in the Porsche Design store.

Bro, theorytical speaking Q10 width is larger then Q5. How come u not buying Q10 case instead? Here in spore PD store didn't sell any case. That's why I finding alternative.

It is thickness which is being concerned here. I tried the Q10 leather case with my 9981 and realized that it was not thick enough, therefore too tight. Then I tried the Q5 leather case instead, and just the correct thickness.

By the way, what is the color of your 9981, titanium or black? There are a lot of Porsche Design 9981 leather cases in their store, and in different colors and finishing too. Should have no problem to pick up the color your prefer.

Mine is titanium. Look more solid, exclusive looking then black :-) I tried calling PD store in Singapore, apparently they have the batt in store ONLY. Here didn't sell much P9981 accessory compare to Dubai or Indonesia etc.

I've been looking for actual porsche design cases for this phone, there's only one porsche design store here in Australia and it's in Sydney, when I flew to Sydney to look for cases they don't even have them on stock, they're really hard to get, but if you don't mind trying out different cases if suggest looking at GUCCI, it's rather less expensive than the PD cases and it fits the P9981 perfectly.

All noted. The demand for 9981 accessories will be very limited in Singapore and South East Asia being compared with the Middle East area especially the Gulf region. As for the spare battery, just Bold 9900 battery will do, really not necessary to buy the one for the 9981 in this case.

Actually Gucci and Porsche Design do not match each other very well. Gucci is too fancy.
