    Now if Verizon were smart they would offer some kind of S2 trade in program towards a Droid now that RIM has ticked off allot of the S2 folks. That would make them some money and put plenty of refurbs on the shelf for replacements.

    No I'm not in marketing but did stay at a Holiday Inn last night!

    In case you haven't found the answer to this already, no.

    I think it's doubtful T-Mobile will see an official release for the 9700. If they do, my guess it will be a while after the 9780 is released. Maybe they will release at the same time though. That would be cool.
