WOW! Every 6.0 OS has leaked except the BB Bold 9700!

What are the odds? So disappointing cause i am so sick of 5.0 already!

Exactly, the way I see it is that if the 9700 OS 6 leaks later, it'll be a later build. I'd prefer that over a non-stable one being leaked first.

Also, isn't the 9700 the only phone to get OS 6 that has 256MB memory? All the others have 512MB. This could be causing a delay

Ah, now that I've stopped laughing at that nonsense.... Is there an OS6 build for 9100 yet? That device is also newer than 9700, and will probably get it sooner too.

Totally agree. I picked up the 9700 again hoping an OS6 update would drop and not make it necessary for me to get the 9780 if/when it hits AT&T...but I don't want to jump on just any OS6 leak that would have too fat a file so that it would make the 9700 run slow and boggy. I'm hoping that when the update is presented, it will be a custom-fit for the 9700.

If not, I might just stick with OS5 on the 9700...and wait on the 9780.

If you mean the 9650 and the 9700, then no they're not.

My point was that BigBalla's post made no sense whatsoever!

The OP never mentioned the 9650, nor complained about it

Yup - I wish people would read the sticky and realize that, it's not us complaining why these discussions are better suited in the actual OS 6 Forum. But, that's where the people that need to hear the complaints and the requests for it are, not here.

If you want your "We want OS6 for the 9700" chants heard, do it in the OS6 forum.

Posting it here, you are just preaching to the choir and getting the dander of the people that CAN'T do anything about it up.

MOD's - PLEASE, enforce the rule set forth in the sticky and MOVE this to OS6 forum where it can make a difference.

I guess that would normally hold true except from what I am reading (since I have not installed OS6 yet myself) is that the leak has not been very buggy in the least. Which means it is a pretty stable build. I think that bodes well for everyone. So when you 9700 people finally do get it, it should be worth waiting for. You'll just have to shrink the h-e-l-l out of it to run it on your phone is all.

What a really, really stupid thread...

There are only 3 existing phones that are getting 6.0 and the dude started a thread saying all of them got it but the 9700....

And not sure why people keep talking about buggy OS's... As stated above, this appears to be the best build/leak thus far...

    Unbelievable.

9300 only has 256mb as far as im aware, cant believe they even release that device though, feels cheap in your hands.... but that's another story altogether

And the 9300 doesn't have an OS6 leak either, just no love for GSM so far.

If I had a 9700, Id dump it and get the Torch. If Verizon had the Torch, that's what I'd get and just dump the 9650. At least AT&T and those carriers that have the Torch can get it. Being with Verizon, they gotta get the 9650 working on OS6 because there is no Verizon Torch and no way would I go to AT&T

I read that T Mobile has T&E'd 3 versions of OS6 and rejected them all. Glad I don't have a leak that was not up to snuff.
