I am travelling overseas and want to use BBM and BB email on wifi only without a data plan. Is this possible without incurring charges?
I have 9780 on At&t.
I read through various theads but there seems to be conflicting and confusing info on this.
can someone please clarify? thanks in advance.

Hello,

If you have a Bis data plan on your own service provider you can use your bbm and other Bb apps including bis.
But you must not put your bis activated sim card out on your device's sim cradle.

Turn your mobile network and activate wifi then go your bbm.

By the way, i think That is one of the best answer why bis is so important to non-bis,iPhone and Droid fanatics
