Just curious as to why BB Protect backup doesn't have an option to backup BBM? It backs up Text Messages but not BB's native messaging app?

I really want to love BBM more than SMS but 2 reasons I don't are:
1. Can't backup and restore your chat history easily (or at all?) like I can with Text Messages
2. When I send a pic via BBM it shows a the file name not the actual pic like Text Messages does. Very annoying to me.
