I'm having some problem about updating BBM status since i've upgraded BBM 5.0.0.57, I don't know what happened but i've heard that if you have more than 100 contacts, then your BBM will get some bugs so you won't be able to update status messages anymore,,, any suggestion?
I'm bumping this because I'm having the same issue, except I have 103 contacts.
Added my 103rd contact, BBM Status stopped Updating, deleted one contact, it started working again. Re-Added that 103rd person, and It stopped again. Using a Bold 9700 with the latest AT&T Official Update(5.0.0.405) and BBM 5.0.0.57.
EDIT: I didn't remember adding 2 SMS contacts to the list and myself, leaving me with an ordinary 100-Contact-List problem... OOPS

I can update it but then it changes back to "Available" when it feel like it. Haven't been able to figure it out. (167 contacts)? Not sure what the # of contacts has to do w/ it, but if you mean BBM contacts, I'm at 12.
