The Classic is the device aimed at those still on legacy BlackBerry devices. I doubt any OS7 updates will be released. Time to upgrade!
They did two years ago. It's called BlackBerry 10.
Bbos has reached its limit, not worth trying to fix anything on it
Development on BBOS has all but stopped. The only way forward for BlackBerry is BB10

Back in 2013, they had plan to build another bb7 device, code n�me I dont remember, but it would be a Bold. And it would came with 7.0.2 pre-installed, with enhancing in performance and UI that would be more suitable for touch device. That device never got released, though, as JC stepped in

Oh, I remember its code name, Samoa. And at the end of the day BB did release it, in the name of 9720, but it is not a successor for the bold 99, as promised, and no BBOS 7.2 too, just 7.1
