I couldn't find the answer for this so what happens if I go from device 1 to device 2? Since device 2 has it's own PIN when I do like the device switch from DM will it auto add all the folks from device 1 to the device 2 bbm list? Will I have to manually re add them 1 by 1?

It manually added for me across 3 devices. Never lost a single contact.

When you did the switch it was just added on the new phone?! Will the contacts have to readd the new PIN on their lists?

Since each BB has its own unique PIN I thought that your contacts would have had to add you using your new PIN or you add them on your new BB.

On mine they're all added under the address book which is synced to my desktop so I can switch them over if I get a new device.

My PINs were not in my address book. Desktop manager did it all for me. How? No idea. Don't really care, either.

either way.. every bb has its own pin so it does send out new invitations every device switch -- to the best of my knowledge.

Just a note- mine didn't automatically do that- I did it myself, but then again sometimes hard to do since you don't know their real names if they us a handle.

I was wondering about this because I'm impatiently waiting for the curve from Verizon.

How do I add my pins to my address book?

go to the address book>contact and edit... you'll notice a line especially for the PIN #

Yep, my desktop manager did it for me as well. I just made sure to do a backup before I switched my sim card. Then did a restore on my new one... Poof! They were already there on my new bb patiently waiting for me!

What about if one of your contacts changes their phone to another BB, will it keep it then.
