I made an installer that replaces your current radio with the .191 radio. Just download, extract, and run the corresponding version.

If you have .230 Download This File

If you have .303 Download This File

Hope this helps you guys. If you want to confirm that you have the .191 radio, your platform on your phone will be 4.2.0.43 (check by pressing left alt, left shift, and "h" keys @ the same time)

Sorry for sounding uninformed, but what is the advantage of "swapping" your radio?

Not sure, I've never really tried it, just been told it didn't work. I'm sure it would as long as you had the correct radio's downloaded into the proper places. Me, I prefer to do it manually before I load it. That way I know I actually did it and it just feels more reassuring to know it's there. If this loader works though, more power to you.

FYI... Swore by .191 radio for weeks, recently went back to .230 radio with 7.16 hybrid with great results... go figure... my battery life has increased greatly as well...

I can't wait for .16. I did .14 and had a ton of problems, then did the .15 when it came out and have been LOVING it. Straight .230 with it. My battery life has increased by about 3 or so hours of heavy use.

7.16 was very intriguing to me as some 9650 files were incorporated into this hybrid.... wish we could get a 9650 radio so we could see if that would work on the tour. This stuff is addicting...

He would have platform 4.2.0.61 (that's the .230 radio) and his app version would be 5.0.0.405 (645) (that's for the 7.15 and 7.16 hybrid)

Ok here's the weird part - I upgraded to the 7.15 hybrid and my app version still says .344, so it must have not installed correctly right? BUT

I've noticed some small icon changes in the OS since upgrading and i noticed the battery life is better etc. Am I crazy here? I tried reinstalling 7.15 and Apploader shows its already on my phone!
